Yuko Monden graduated from the Japan Women's College of Physical Education in Tokyo, Japan. In Japan, she performed Yosakoi dance since 2000, received many awards as a K-one 動流夢（Dream) member, and performed in the Japanese Summer Festival Song TV show in 2005 and the Ohayo Nippon TV Show in 2008. She also choreographed the song "F Marinos" for a performance starring over 500 people, in the Yosakoi Festival, at the NISSAN Stadium.
When she moved to the United States in 2011 she began her career in New York. She has performed with groups such as Nimbus Dance Works, LEVYdance, The Next Stage Project and more. She also received a Simonson Method Teacher Training Certification in 2012. In 2013 she moved to San Francisco, and has worked with The Anata Project, Copious Dance Theater, and CALI & CO dance. Last year she was invited to perform at Ted x Stanford and Bay Area Discovery Museum.
She taught Dance Master of California as a guest teacher in 2015 and also she teaches Hiphop and Contemporary classes in Geary Dance Center, Mobu Dance Studio in SF and Sonoma State University.
