Disability, Dance, Artistry, (Inter)national Voices: Judith Smith in Conversation in NYC

Join us with Alice Sheppard and our Artistic Director, Judith Smith in the Disability, Dance, Artistry, International Voices Conversation Series in New York, each featuring leaders and (inter)National guests working in dance. Smith and Sheppard's talk, Disability and National Synergies in Dance.

Their goal is to forge a place for disabled artists/artistry in New York's cultural ecosystem, a place where disabled artists can flourish.

The Series extends Dance/NYC's Disability, Dance Artistry initiaive, which aims to advance inclusion and access to the art form for disabled people in the metropolitan area by bringing new (inter)national voices in. It coincides with a national initiative and set of convenings across the US undertaken y AXIS Dance Company with support from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance. Dance/ NYC works in alliance with Dance/USA
