LOCATION: Discussion Stage - outside the NMAH on the SW corner of the South Terrace, facing the National Mall.
AXIS’ PERFORMANCE TIME: 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. The AXIS dancers will do a short performance followed by a Q & A session.

AXIS’ PERFORMANCE TIME: 5:30 – 5:45 p.m. The AXIS dancers will perform a short dance piece.

TIME: 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
COST: $15 – cash and credit card accepted at the door
In this Master Class, join AXIS Dance Company’s Rehearsal Director, Yayoi Kambara and AXIS Company Members in an introduction to our physically integrated form of dance. Class will include a technique warm-up, creative problem solving exercises and phrase material from our current touring repertory.
Although, there are no active contracts available at this time, we are always scouting for dancers with and without physical disabilities to join our company. We look for people with a background in athletics or a strong aptitude for dance as an art form; and/or training in contemporary dance, as well as high motivation, strong teaching and communications skills, and a commitment to fully participate in our extensive program of ambassadorial education work worldwide.
