AXIS believes in accessibility for everyone.
AXIS Dance Company pledges to work towards full accessibility for all disabled, D/deaf and neurodivergent people in all of our programs and services.
In our in-person and online performances, classes and events, our goal is to always center access from the ground up – as opposed to adding accommodations as an afterthought. This goal is something we will always be working towards; there is no ‘perfect’ way to provide access for all and we always have more to learn.
Website & Virtual Events
From ALT Text in images to ASL Interpretation and Audio Description, we strive to make our website and virtual events as accessible as possible.
In-Person Access
In addition to mandatory wheelchair accessibility in all venues, we also include live ASL Interpretation, Audio Description, relaxed performance options, chemical sensitivity requests and live Touch Tour experiences whenever possible for in-person programming.
Feedback and Accommodation Requests
Do you know ways we can make our online and in-person events more accessible? Are there accommodations you need that we are not providing? We’d love to hear from you and will do our best to accommodate you. Read our Accessibility Statement for more information.
